Navigating Metro Atlanta – 3 Hour CE May 11 – In Person

FreeNavigating Metro Atlanta is a 3-hour in person continuing education course designed to educate licensees to be able to recognize and be knowledgeable of the Metro Atlanta area and be knowledgeable of the different areas, neighborhoods, and directions of our large metropolitan city to better help relocating clients. Course Objectives:
- Learn the differences between inside the perimeter and outside the perimeter, in town and suburb
- Locate and describe the different in-town cities/towns/neighborhoods commonly identified as Atlanta, such as Decatur, Midtown, Virginia Highland, Buckhead, Morningside, etc.
- Identify the different sections of metro Atlanta on the eastside, westside, northside, and southside of the city
- Identify the different interstates and which areas of town they navigate to
- Know and understand the different kinds of architectural styles likely found in older sections of Atlanta
- Be able to identify the different kinds of architectural styles built as Atlanta moved into the suburbs as land was developed in recent decades
- Become familiar with important landmarks commonly used to identify and navigate the city of Atlanta and its suburbs
Who Is This Class For?
If you are a real estate agent that serves the northern half of Metro Atlanta, you and your clients would benefit from the information you will learn in this class. You will learn what types of housing styles and prices are found in the different areas, how long it takes to get from one area to another, and what type of commute times can be generally expected. This is must-have information to ensure you are an expert and are better able to consult with customers and clients to help them be successful in the real estate market.

Lisa Ward is the owner and design specialist for Premier Design & Remodel. She is an Accredited Staging Professional® and Realtor® and has a passion for real estate and specifically, transforming interior and exterior residential real estate spaces. Lisa’s mission is to help her client’s design inspirations come to life!
Born and raised in Atlanta, Lisa began her career as the operations manager of a real estate company but quickly moved into staging homes for real estate professionals. It wasn’t long before her staging services transformed into small design projects and then more involved projects requiring more extensive design and remodel work allowing her true passion to come to life. Lisa works with homeowners, home sellers and real estate agents in Metro Atlanta to design, update and remodel homes to achieve the goals of each individual client’s need.
Lisa is an IAHSP Accredited Stager, a member of the National Association of Realtors®, Georgia Association of Realtors® and Atlanta Realtors® Association.
