House Exteriors and Architecture – In Person 3 Hour CE – February 8, 2024

FreeHouse Exteriors and Architecture is a 3-hour in person continuing education class designed to educate licensees to be able to recognize and be knowledgeable of different components of house exteriors and architectural styles of houses. You will learn about all of the physical components of various housing styles and gain confidence that you are an expert on the various types of homes when working with clients. GREC course code is 76164.
Course Objectives:
- Identify the different types of exterior siding on houses
- Identify the different types of exterior features such as gables, dormers, colonnades, eaves, turrets, etc.
- Learn the different types of doors, windows, and roof types on houses
- Understand different architectural styles of attached houses such as high rise condos, lofts, townhouses, etc.
- Understand different kinds of architectural styles of detached homes such as Traditional, Ranch, Contemporary, Tudor, Cape Cod, Craftsman, and many more.
- Identify the different types of house styles such as Split Foyer, Split Level, Drive Under Garage, etc.
